School of Religious Education - SRE      

Faith formation instruction, age appropriate, separated by grade level, is offered in the following formats: 

  • Classes for grades 1-5 meet on Tuesday or Wednesday from 4-5:30pm in the classrooms.

  • Small groups meet in homes for grades 1-5; availability and times scheduled dependent upon registrations.

  • Grades 6, 7, & 8 small groups meet in homes on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 7-8:30pm.

  • Home study material and support for families whose children are unable to attend scheduled class instruction.

Your SRE family registration fee entitles your family members to participate in any of the above listed programs and/or any of the following ministries without additional cost:

1.  Sacrament Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion

For children in grades 1-8 requires:

  • The child is baptized

  • Enrollment in religious education in SRE or a Catholic School for two consecutive years

  • Involvement of the parents or guardians in the formation process

2.  Sunday School

Sunday morning classes for 3, 4, and 5 year old children during 8:30am Mass

3.  Junior High Ministry

  • Fun nights

  • Retreats

  • Service Projects

4.  Family Catechesis

Intergenerational gatherings scheduled in a variety of different formats to provide faith formation experiences geared to include all age levels.

5.  Adult Classes – Workshops - Retreats

  • Faith Formation

  • Parenting

  • Relationship Enhancement

  • Divorce and Annulments

To register your family in the SRE program and Family Life Ministries, please fill out the three forms provided:

  Family Registration Form

  Emergency Information and Release Form

  Volunteer Information Form

Submit these with your $25 deposit/or full payment amount ($150 per family/per year) to the FLM Office to process the registration and secure the placement of your student(s) in the classroom and/or sessions scheduled.


Your early registration allows time to plan, prepare, and anticipate the financial support needed for:

  • Catechists needed in providing religious education

  •  Adequate meeting spaces for all scheduled classes and events

  • Quality programs, speakers, and special events
