In recent years the Church has established the Ministry of Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist.  It is a great privilege to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the members of the congregation.  There are some requirements that must be met in order to become a minister of the Eucharist; namely,

1) you must be a practicing Catholic, at least, 25 years of age;
2) you must be a registered member of St. Hedwig Parish.

There will be an instruction class at which attendance is mandatory. You will serve on a team with seven other ministers, and the Mass at which you serve will rotate approximately every two weeks.  We welcome you to inquire about this very special ministry or if you desire to become a minister, please contact the Rectory office.
