Our Lord Jesus is present, body, soul and divinity, in the consecrated Host present in our tabernacle.  It is, therefore, appropriate for the faithful to offer reverence to the Blessed Sacrament.  In December of 1977 the diocese of Orange initiated Perpetual Adoration for our diocese.  Saint Hedwig’s day of adoration is the 16^th of each month, beginning right after morning mass and ending the next morning before mass. 

The work of this Ministry is (1) to visit the Blessed Sacrament exposed on our altar on the 16^th, (2) to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and (3) to inform and encourage our parishioners to come and marvel at our God who loves us so much.
