The Children of Light Prayer Community has been in existence since 1967.  Initially, the weekly prayer meetings were held in Parishioner’s homes.  In 1974, the weekly meetings moved to St Hedwig Church and the prayer group has been continuously active in St. Hedwig Community. We have held periodic Life in the Spirit seminars. 

We gather every Tuesday night from 7:30 to 9:00 in the prayer room adjacent to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel praise God in song, prayer, and seek Him in Scripture, sharing, and teaching.  All are welcome to attend or just visit one of the meetings, especially for those who have any specific prayer intentions.

A core group of the members also meets most Friday nights.  The focus of this meeting is praise, small group sharing, and personal spiritual development.  We are concerned about the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each other.
