Sacrament of Marriage

Marriage preparation requires a minimum of six months.  Notify the parish in plenty of time.

• Above all, begin your plans with your parish.  Do not put a deposit on a reception hall before you contact the parish office.  The date you want may be filled or there may be unexpected complications.

• Parish shopping is usually not a good idea.

• Make God a big part of your marriage and of your wedding day.  “A wedding is a day, a marriage is a lifetime.”
